Interested in learning how to play the guitar and making some friends along the way?

Here at headspace Port Macquarie, we are strumming our way to better mental health!

headspace is offering FREE guitar lessons to young people aged 12-25 who want to have fun, learn an instrument and make new connections. CHORDS is a beginners guitar group that runs weekly Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm. This social group is completely free and all learning materials are provided, including a guitar if needed.  

Facilitated our headspace volunteer and CHORDS Guitar Group Facilitator Dan, we focus on how to play your favourite songs while having a great time. 

Dan is an experienced guitarist who loves teaching and sharing his passion for music. Dan started learning the guitar when he was 15 years old, discovering that music was a great support throughout his teenage years. Since then, Dan has continued to learn, express and heal through music and is excited to share his love of the guitar, music and connection with others.
