CHORDS- Learn to play guitar program

Interested in learning how to play the guitar and making some friends along the way?

Here at headspace Port Macquarie, we are strumming our way to better mental health!

CHORDS is our fabulous resident music activity here at headspace. This regular group is perfect for beginner guitarists who want to learn the basics of learning an instrument, how to play with proper technique and most importantly how to ROCK OUT. These lessons are suitable for anyone aged 12-25, who want to have fun, play the guitar and make new connections along the way.

CHORDS run each term, weekly on a Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm. This group is completely FREE and all learning materials are provided, including a guitar if needed. 

Meet Dan - our guitar master! 

CHORDS is facilitated by our amazing guitar teacher and self proclaimed rocker, Dan. In these lessons, Dan will teach you the skills you need to be able to play your favourite tunes.  

Dan is an experienced guitarist who loves teaching and sharing his passion for music. Dan started learning the guitar when he was 15 years old, discovering that music was a great support throughout his teenage years. Since then, Dan has continued to learn, express and heal through music and is excited to share his love of the guitar, music and connection with others.
