headspace Mildura Programs

headspace Mildura offer a range of programs for young people. In 2017, these include:

headspace Mildura Youth Reference Group (YRG): 
The YRG helps to guide headspace Mildura by giving young people a direct role in guiding our centre. Volunteers aged between 12-25 who are passionate about the health of young people are welcome to apply. http://goo.gl/CizP8W

Alphabet Soup:
A support group for young people aged 12-25 who are LGBTIQA. To find out more, contact headspace Mildura on 5021 2400 or email larni.baird@headspacemildura.com.au

BOLD Magazine:
headspace Mildura produce BOLD Magazine and work with volunteers aged 12-25 who are interested in writing, art or photography. DRUMBEAT: 
this is a rhythm based program developed by Holyoake in Western Australia. The name is an acronym for: Discovering Relationships Using Music, Beliefs, Emotions, Attitudes, and Thoughts. Tuning In To Teens:
This is an evidence-based parenting program Australia. The program has been shown to have benefits including improving parenting, parent-child relationships and children’s emotional competence and behaviour.
