headspace runs a range of programs throughout the year and we would love to have you along.


ed-space is a monthly information and education seminar which focuses on areas like mental health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Sexuality, and a whole range of other areas. ed-space is primarily focus on family and friends of young people.

Flexible Minds 

A group program that uses an acceptance and commitment therapy based approach to valued living. This group is suitable for young people aged 13-16 years. The aim of the program is for young people to develop psychological flexibility, which is the ability to do what they care about, even if they have difficult thoughts and feelings. Contact reception on 02 5109 9700. 


Going through a tough time?  headspace can help...  We aim to make it as easy as possible for young people and their families to get the help they need for the problems affecting their wellbeing.

We welcome you to come in, see the centre, meet the team, and find out some of the ways we can help.

Held the 1st Thursday of each month between 4:30pm - 5:30pm. Contact reception on 02 5109 9700 for more information and to book. Please note, Your Space for 2020 will commence in March on 5th March. 

Healthy headspace Skills Workshop 

headspace Canberra has its upcoming healthy headspace skills workshops that will begin in 2020 for 8 weeks at 5:30PM @ headspace Canberra. 

These workshops have been designed as brief intervention workshops for young people to offer as low intensity psychoeducation on a range of topics for the young people accessing ongoing support from headspace. 

Tuning into Teens

Tuning into teens is a 6 week course for parents and carers of adolescents.

Tuning In To Teens supports you to help your adolescent develop emotional intelligence. Research shows that adolescents with higher emotional intelligence may:

  • be more aware, assertive and resilient
  • have greater success with making friends and managing peer conflict
  • be more likely to have stable and satisfying relationships as adults

This course will be running in 2020.
