Community Engagement at headspace Osborne Park

Community engagement is at the core of what headspace does. It's how we let people know what we do, and how we build up people's trust in us. On this page, you'll find information on what we offer as part of community engagement and how you can make a request.

If you can't find what you're looking for, you can also book a call-back from our Community Engagement Officer here

Please note that these services are only available in the Perth Metro area.

In addition to this, please check whether headspace Osborne Park is the closest headspace centre to you before booking an engagement with us. Centres function independently and are not able to share bookings easily, and so we may turn down bookings that are closer to another centre.

Click on a community engagement service below to learn more.

If you're in the Perth Metro area, you can order the physical resources from us such as brochures, info sheets, and more. Click on the links below to see the digital versions of each resource, then fill out this form to submit an order.

Currently, we only offer presentations on headspace. We do not currently offer presentations around mental health education and literacy.

If you are looking for mental health education sessions for schools or classrooms, head over to the headspace Mental Health Education Program.

Did you know that the headspace model works similar to a franchise model? Each centre is run by a different 'lead agency' (ie a company), so you might find that services, inclusion criteria, referral processes, and the general experience of headspace to be very different between centres.

If you want to know more about the headspace model, headspace National services, and the services available at our centre specifically, you can book a presentation from us by clicking here.

Some of the topics our presentations usually cover are:

  • headspace services, our centre, and our team
  • how to refer a young person
  • inclusion/exclusion criteria
  • our No Wrong Door Policy
  • Q&As

This presentation might be good for:

  • teachers & other school staff
  • resident assistants at universities
  • GPs clinics & other health services
  • community & youth services
  • parent groups
  • students (year 11 through to tertiary education) studying psychology, health, or other relevant subjects

If you have an event coming up, you can have headspace run a stall/booth with information on headspace services and/or a mental-health-based activity. Click here to request a booking with us.

Here are some (but definitely not all!) examples of events we attend:

  • university open days and orientation days
  • school health expos
  • fairs or markets
  • community-based youth events
  • staff PD events
