Stereotypes about gender and sexuality seem to pop up everywhere. These stereotypes are often narrow and non-representative. It’s important to be able to debunk stereotypes, so you feel comfortable to be whoever you want to be.
The way you want to describe your gender and sexuality, and who you share that with, is completely up to you. For some people, exploring their sexuality or gender can feel daunting because they’re worried about other people’s reactions. If someone is making you feel badly about yourself, remember there is nothing wrong with you.
