headspace Noarlunga provides a range of services to young people including primary health, mental health, substance use counselling and social recovery programs. The service is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and administrative staff and focuses on the provision of early intervention services, utilising evidence-based practice with the vision of improving the quality of life of young people.
As a mental health clinician, you will form part of our headspace Noarlunga Centre team, and work collaboratively with a range of service providers to enhance health and mental health outcomes for young people experiencing mental health disorders living in the local community. You will be responsible for providing timely intake, assessment and brief intervention services.
headspace is seeking a person who has demonstrated experience in clinical assessment and the provision of clinical services. Additionally, you will possess a strong knowledge and understanding of evidence based psychological interventions and contemporary therapies in the treatment and management of mental health disorders. Naturally, you will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong information technology and information management skills and a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
