Kmart has demonstrated a commitment to the health and wellbeing of its staff through customised training delivered by our highly skilled training team.

Kmart team members have also participated in the headspace Career Mentoring program, with mentors sharing positive feedback about their experience working with young people to help support their journey towards work or study:

“I had been looking for an opportunity to volunteer my time. My mentee and I have developed an open relationship that is comfortable, supportive and filled with genuine interest in their success. The highlight has been seeing my mentee grow with confidence as they finish their studies and work out what direction they want their career to go.”

“Kmart employs a lot of young people in the stores which can provide a valuable first job for many people. It’s important that they have a good first experience but equally important that our managers are able to manage them and understand their issues.”

“I have enjoyed getting to know my mentee and helping her understand how the workforce works.”
