headspace Gladstone lauches their big stigma
Following on from the success of The Big Stigma stigma which headspace featured at Southern Cross Railway Station in Melbourne, headspace centres all over the country have been keen to get involved at continue the fight against stigma.
headspace Gladstone launched their very own version of The Big Stigma, which has been well received by the local community. The launch was hosted by headspace Youth Ambassador Bec Frost and streamed live on Facebook gaining multiple shares and likes.
Members of the local community are invited to tear down the physical structure, which consists of panels that contain mental health information and help-seeking advice.
The physical structure at headspace Gladstone will be on display until 27 August 2016. As we tear down The Big Stigma, piece by piece and we talk about mental health, the smaller the stigma gets.
headspace Gladstone, will be encouraging the community to use #thebigstigma in all forms of social media to get the conversation going, and to help tear the stigma down.
