eheadspace live info session: The low down on alcohol and other drugs

Many people feel pressured to drink alcohol or take drugs. If you choose to use, it should be on your terms. There is no 'safe way' to drink alcohol or take drugs, however if you are choosing to use, it is important that you use as safely as possible.

Using alcohol and other drugs can be fun, but sometimes it can get out of hand.

If your drug or alcohol use is starting to affect things that matter, like your mental health, wellbeing or your friendships, it can be a good idea to talk to someone about your options, such as different ways to reduce or stop your use.  Alcohol and other drugs can have a major effect on your mental health and can cause you harm, as well as the people around you.

Take this opportunity to speak anonymously online to our mental health professionals, alcohol and other drugs specialists and headspace Youth National Reference Group members and hear from others about their concerns and experiences with alcohol and other drugs.

Join us on Thursday 19 March from 5.00-6.00pm (AEDST) for a live web chat.
