From time to time, we find ourselves in situations that leave us feeling down and unsettled. It might be over an ongoing argument you have with someone or hearing about the death of someone you know.

Regardless of the severity of the situation, sometimes it’s hard to cope both in the short term and even in the long term, especially if the feelings keep coming back.

As a result of these situations, you might experience stress, anxiety or despair and this can have an effect on your health and wellbeing. There are however, a number of things you can do to help you cope with these sorts of situations.

Take this opportunity to speak anonymously online to our mental health professionals and hear from other young people about their experiences and questions around coping in difficult times.

Join us on Thursday 8 October from 5.00-6.00pm (AEST) for a live web chat.
