In response to the current COVID-19 situation, headspace Wagga Wagga has decided to make some changes to how we deliver services.
We are being guided by information from health authorities and headspace National about the importance of minimising the risk of spreading COVID and are trying to balance this responsibility with our duty of care to provide ongoing services to young people. At this stage our plan is to transition from face to face appointments to telehealth services. This is consistent with what other headspace services are doing and should help safeguard our communities.
With this in mind, all community engagement activities have been postponed until further notice and as of Monday 23 March 2020, we will cease face-to-face outreach appointments and transition to telehealth sessions.
We understand that this may be unsettling, however we want to make sure we can still provide service to young people when they need it.
If you are a young person or support person that has questions about this or are worried about the transition, you can contact the centre on 6923 3170 for more information.
We will do our best to keep the community updated via social media and our website.
