Supporting youth to access supports in times of need

headspace Swan Hill in partnership with the Murray Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network (MMLLEN) have launched a new resource to assist young people to access the support they need in times of crisis.

The Youth Crisis Cards and Poster aims to remove the uncertainty of who to seek support and guidance from, with current and up-to-date details of services that can help young people in a crisis.

By scanning the QR code on the crisis cards or poster, people can open and save a digital copy to their phone. The interactive digital poster aims to bridge a gap in knowledge about what services are available and how to contact them in times of crisis. By clicking on the service name, people are redirected to the service’s website for more information. Alternatively, clicking on the service’s contact number will allow users to directly call the service in times of need. This feature allows users to access immediate support which could be life-saving.
