Art Workshops for Young People

headspace Newcastle has partnered with Newcastle Art Gallery to present a series of art workshops for young people from diverse backgrounds

The workshops have been created to provide young people from diverse backgrounds and experiences a chance to engage with art and artists at the Newcastle Art Gallery.

The first workshop seeks to engage youth (15-25 years) from Multicultural backgrounds.

The young people will be super lucky to work with Tiyan Baker. Tiyan Baker is a Malaysian Bidayuh-Anglo Australian artist who works with installation, photography, video, and sculpture. 

Tiyan will be running 2 workshops 

Workshop 1 - Saturday 27th June

Workshop 2 - Saturday 4th July

The workshops are FREE and will include transport, food and art supplies.
