CW: Survival Day, January 26th
SURVIVAL DAY
headspace Melton will be closed on January 26th. We will reopen on January 27th.
We understand January 26th can mean different things to different people. At headspace Melton, we stand with First Nations community in mourning this day as Survival Day. We acknowledge our responsibility and role in closing the mental health gap in this country and that we must engage in deeply reflective and honest truth-telling about our country's history in order to do so. This includes rigorously rethinking the systems by which we our service runs so that we may provide the best care that First Nations young people deserve.
