Are you a client of headspace Craigieburn or Orygen? If so, would you like to take part in an important study?

Here's how.

Sarah is one of the awesome clinicians at headspace Glenroy our sister site and she is also a researcher at Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health.

She is working on a really important study at the moment that is looking into whether an online tool like a phone app could be helpful for young people that have an experience of self-harm or have thought about suicide.

Sarah is keen to recruit young people aged between 18 and 25 to the study. You can choose whether you want to participate in one or more focus groups, which will be held with young people from headspace and Orygen. These will be held at headspace Craigeburn, as well as at other headspace centres and at Orygen Parkville.

If you want to know more about the study and have a chat with Sarah about what’s involved and whether you could participate, head on over to the Orygen Website (Orygen.org.au/selfhelpapp) for all the info.
