headspace Coffs takes on the 2025 Push Up Challenge

The Push-Up Challenge is Australia's largest mental health and fitness event. In 2025, headspace Coffs Harbour is again a beneficiary of the challenge - meaning local teams and individuals can nominate headspace Coffs to promote and fundraise for.

Our headspace centre staff, Suzanne, Geordy, Emily, Nourah and Taz, are taking on The Push-Up Challenge from 4-26 June 2025. The challenge is to complete 3,214 push-ups or alternative exercises (or 1,607 for the half-target).

This is important to us, because 3,214 people died by suicide in Australia in 2023 (the most recent stats), and we want to lead by example.

Our community has also jumped in with their incredible support, with teams from local high schools, The Big Banana, Sawtell RSL Snipers, Nexus Gym Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour Snappers and so many more amazing teams and individuals!

The ongoing awareness, collaboration and support throughout this month of June has highlighted how needed mental health support and services are. These conversations continue to breakdown the stigma that accompanies mental health, further helping individuals who need support to access it sooner.

Funds raised will go towards much-needed youth mental health services and initiatives in our region through our centre, headspace Coffs Harbour.
