headspace Busselton is linked to headspace Bunbury which is a service tailored for the local community.

headspace Busselton supports young people 12 - 25 with mild to moderate mental health, substance use, work and study as well as physical health concerns and their family and friends.

No referral is needed, and all services are free.

headspace Busselton is linked to headspace Bunbury and operated by Relationships Australia Western Australia. All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. Administration of funding is carried out by the headspace centre’s local Primary Health Network, in this case, Country WA (WA Primary Health Alliance Ltd).

Services

Mental health workers – which may include psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and other workers – that can help if you're just not feeling yourself.

Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with any alcohol or other drug concern.

GPs can help with any physical health issues as well as issues related to sexual health, drug or alcohol use, relationship problems or feeling down or upset. Your centre may have a GP on site or links to one locally. 

Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with work or study opportunities.

Contracted Allied Mental Health professional (2 to 5 days per week)

Do you live in/around Bunbury, Busselton or Margaret River?

 

headspace provides a comprehensive early intervention mental health service for 12 to 25 year olds. We endeavour to make it as easy as possible for a young person and their family to get the help they need for issues affecting their wellbeing.

headspace Bunbury, Busselton and Margaret River are operated by Relationships Australia WA, a leading non-government provider of professional relationship services, offering a range of counselling, case management, group work and community education services to individuals and families.

headspace Bunbury, Busselton and Margaret River services offer a progressive, dynamic environment and we welcome expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Allied Mental Health professionals passionate about working with young people and looking to join a multi-disciplinary team. We are an LGBTQIA+ inclusive service provider and also encourage applications from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island professionals.

As a contracted Allied Mental Health Professional with a Medicare provider number you will be working in an early intervention framework via Better Access (MBS) funding and under headspace guidelines.
