headspace Narooma is recruiting for the 2025 Youth Reference Group!

The Youth Reference Group provides young people with the opportunity to be heard and be active around youth mental health and alcohol and other drug issues in the local community. 

Are you?

• Aged between 16 & 25 and passionate about youth mental health?
• Wanting to gain experience and new skills in the mental health field?
• Looking to add to a resume while studying?
• Wanting to have fun, meet new people and be a part of headspace and community events?

 

What will my role in the Youth Reference Group involve?

headspace Narooma Youth Reference Group Members are involved in the planning, decision making and direction of headspace Narooma.

 

Your voice will help:

• Guide headspace Narooma in the development and review of programs, groups and resources
• Ensure young people in the Eurobodalla have the opportunity to initiate and be involved in community awareness raising activities and events
• Create positive youth media that promotes young people, their experiences and stories
• Ensure headspace Narooma continues to be a youth friendly centre that meets the needs of local young people.
