headspace Board Chair Wendy McCarthy
The mental health sector has undergone significant reform over the last 12 months.
As a result, the scope, structure and role of headspace national office has changed and consequently, our CEO, Chris Tanti will be leaving headspace.
Chris has been with headspace for close to a decade and has been unwavering in his commitment to young people experiencing mental health issues. He has delivered a world-class and innovative service that showcases the benefits of early intervention.
He has been at the helm of headspace since its inception, and in that time has grown the headspace network to nearly 100 centres. That has equated to more than 255,000 young Australians being treated for mental health issues at headspace centres. Including thousands through its online and phone counselling service, eheadspace. A phenomenal achievement.
I thank Chris for his time, his passion and his dedication. He will be missed by everyone at headspace, across the country.
