headspace has a variety of ways to help you support your young person. You can access support by simply creating a headspace account.
Family and friends can provide vital support for young people when they are having a tough time. headspace is here to help support you through these challenges and transitions.
Connect with us 1:1
Talk online or over the phone to a trained clinician for 1-on-1 support. Open 9am – 1am AEST 7 days a week. It’s a confidential, free and a safe space to talk about what’s going on with your young person.
Group chats led by professionals or clinicians
Our professional-led online chats, hosted by trained mental health clinicians, will give you regular informative sessions on current topics experienced in our communities.
Peer led group chats
Adults supporting young people group chat, Fortnightly Mondays at 6:15pm- 9.45pm AEST. If you are an adult supporting a young person, it can be helpful to talk to other adults and share your experiences with supporting your young people.
Self-help information
We have a range of articles and transcripts of previous group chats designed to help friends and family understand challenges your young person may be facing and how to best support them. Topics include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and more.
Parents and Carers events
Free mental health education sessions for parents, carers and community members in NSW and Vic. Hear how you can support support your young person when you are concerned about their mental health.
