We need you!
If you are aged between 12-25 (or know someone who is) and want to make a difference to the support available to young people in the Southern Downs, then jump aboard our Youth Reference Group (YRG)! Young people are at the heart of all that we do at headspace Warwick. We know you are experts in your own lives and through youth participation you have the opportunity to inform the work of our service, ensuring the service is suitable for, and engages directly with, young people in the local community.
No experience is necessary as we provide orientation and training from headspace National, and all the in-house support you need to give you the skills and knowledge required to become an advocate for youth mental health in the Southern Downs community. The group meets fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons in the community room
If you're interested please check out this link to an EOI for YRG form. The form makes it super easy to register your interest in joining our YRG and once complete we will get in contact with you ASAP to talk further. If there are any issues with the form give us a call on 07 4661 1999, or drop in and have a chat with us about the YRG.
