Celebrating headspace Day Tweed style!
We held a community BBQ down at Tweed Skate Park to celebrate the second ever #headspaceday on Monday 9th October. We were entertained by the awesome Dillon Elsley band from Banora Point High, and our lovely Mayor Katie Milne shared some of her tips on how to navigate the challenges of being a young person. We also had the opportunity to acknowledge the awesome work of our headspace Tweed Heads staff, and everyone present shared their personal tips on getting into a positive headspace. Proudly presented by the headspace Tweed Heads Youth Advisory Group! We also created a beautiful community art piece facilitated by Shay from Social Futures NDIS, and cracked open our new set of giant jenga... <3
