A group can help you:

DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)
Our 8-week DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) Skills Group gives young people practical tools to better understand themselves, build resilience, and feel more in control. DBT is an evidence-based approach that helps young people learn real-life coping skills. It focuses on:
- Mindfulness (being present)
- Distress Tolerance (getting through tough moments)
- Emotion Regulation (understanding and managing feelings)
- Interpersonal Skills (communication & boundaries)
Group Details
Location: headspace Southport
When: Wednesday's 2:30pm - 4:30pm (Starting Wednesday 1st July 2026)
Format: 8 weekly sessions

Young people aged 16 - 24 who want to:
- Manage intense emotions without feeling overwhelmed
- Handle stress and tough situations more effectively
- Build healthier relationships and communication skills
- Increase confidence and self-awareness
- Make decisions that align with your goals
