National headspace Day. Because doing nothing shouldn't be this hard.

What do we mean by DO NOTHING?

For those who may not be aware, headspace day is our annual National day to celebrate all things youth mental health.

So often we are asking young people to do more for their mental health and wellbeing. While of course these actions provide value, they can also overwhelm and feel difficult to achieve.

That's why this year we are encouraging young people to do "nothing" this headspace day for their mental health and wellbeing.

The message reframes "nothing" as an active choice. Nothing is about allowing ourselves to remove the pressures of everyday life and remove the expectation of always needing to do more.

At headspace Port Macquarie, we want you have a go at exploring what doing nothing is like... we will guide you through a Do Nothing Journey on our open day.. we can't wait to welcome you!
