A very big congratulations and thank you to all for getting to the end of 2024!! We would love to take a moment to pause and reflect on the year that has been at headspace Knox and Lilydale and thank all the legends that have advocated, supported and encouraged the incredible young people of our community and furthered the reach of headspace Knox and Lilydale.

We would like to start by expressing our heartfelt gratitude to those that have shown unwavering support to our centres through time, resources, donations and advocacy.

We particularly highlight Share the Dignity. Your donations of period products exceeded all expectations! Providing us the opportunity to practically support young people, particularly those accessing our GP services at headspace Knox and the school clinics. We were blown away by the donations of the bags filled with essential items and some Christmas generosity and joy, we have been loving handing them out to people that come across our centres bringing a smile to all our faces.

Thank you to those who raised funds, advocated and participated in the Push Up Challenge 2024! Wow was that hard work!! This challenge gave us a new opportunity to connect with some organisations, schools, businesses, sporting clubs, police and firefighters across our community. We were astounded by the number of people who got on board and used this platform to have conversations with those around them about youth mental health, thank you to the teams Scoresby Senior School, Cire Yarra Junction Campus and Anytime Fitness Wantirna South for giving your all in the challenge, we really appreciated all your Push Ups and donations!

Massive shout out to Boronia Hawks Football Club for their annual headspace cup! And of course, we honour and thank Dylan Dower who exemplifies generosity and a heart of giving through creating a company GrowClubAu to sell headspace hoodies with all profits going to headspace.

We also want to thank Holey Moley at Eastland for their incredible effort's on Funlabs Day of Fun, we love spending the day with your awesome team. You always make us feel welcome and go above and beyond to show the community how much you support us, from turning everything green to the amazing green costumes! We also thank those who joined in on the day, had awesome conversations while getting into the fun spirit of mini golf, escape rooms, bowling and Karaoke.

To those who throughout the year contact our team asking how you can donate to our programs and young people, your generosity is to be commended. In the busy world we live in it is easy to live in the moment and focus on our own lives and each of you have stepped out and advocated, connected, put time and a whole lot of effort into actively supporting our day to day programs, services and team. Your dedication and commitment have been instrumental in helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. Thank you to Peace for Patryk, The Lions Club, Lilydale Heights and Ferntree Gully Rotary Club.

We also thank headspace Lilydale Aaron Violi Federal Member for Casey & Shadow Minister Anne Ruston visiting our headspace Lilydale centre to listen from our staff and hear about the challenges we are seeing in our community and asking how you can further our capacity to reach young people in the Yarra Ranges.
