headspace Camperdown's Plan for COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
Dear headspace Camperdown clients (including young people and family members/friends/carers who access our services for support),
RE: Updates for COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
We understand that you might be feeling anxious regarding the current outbreak ofCOVID-19,in the community.
We wanted to let you to know that we have decided to implement some changes at our centre to ensure that we continue to be a safe space and can provide you with the care that you need at this time. We are committed to providing ongoing therapy, advice and support during this time and have made some decisions because the safety and the health of you, our clients, and staff are our top priority. For more information about coping with COVID-19 please see this page.
We will continue to provide individual therapy appointments unless you are advised otherwise.
Due to the current and rapidly evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and to ensure the utmost safety of our Young People, staff and the community, headspace Camperdown has decided to move back to a (telehealth clinic) where we will continue to support Young People with their mental health and well-being needs.
By moving to Zoom, or phone-based appointments in some instances where required, we feel that we are greatly reducing your risk as well as the risk to our staff and community.
We anticipate the telehealth system being in place until we feel that it is safe to resume providing services in-person for young people and families.
If you have questions about the changes, please let us know.
We will be in communication with you should there be any further changes. We hope that these precautions will protect you, your family, and our greater community overall.
*Please note most of our groups will continue to run online.
