About
headspace Eastern Shore offers free mental health support and general health advice to young people aged 12-25. Our team includes Psychologists, General Practitioners (GPs), Social Workers, Registered Nurses, Community Engagement Specialist, Peer Workers, Vocational Specialist and an amazing Administration Team.
Where: Located near Rosny Park, our centre is accessible for individuals with disabilities and has free parking available (entrance at 5 Winkleigh Place). The nearest bus stop, Rosny Park Interchange (Bligh Street), is only a 5-minute from our centre
Why: Young people come to headspace for various reasons, including conflicts with family or friends, concerns about bullying, relationship issues, mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety, problems at school or work, and worries about physical and sexual health, as well as issues related to alcohol and drugs.
How: We welcome young people and their families to contact us on 03 6219 9870 or walk in directly to make a referral to our service. For service providers wishing to refer a young person to our service, please return this form via email to us at hello@headspaceEasternShore.com.au

headspace Eastern Shore is operated by Each Limited. All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. Administration of funding is carried out by the headspace centre’s local Primary Health Network, in this case, Primary Health Tasmania.

Sexual health screenings on site or links to local services.
A group of young people who help with events and some decision making at a centre. Ask your centre about getting involved.
Mental health workers – which may include psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and other workers – that can help if you're just not feeling yourself.
Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with any alcohol or other drug concern.

Need support with your mental health, work, or study in addition to, in-between your headspace Eastern Shore appointments or after hours? headspace online and phone services are here for young people and their family.
eheadspace – Chat with a mental health clinician from 3pm-10pm via webchat, email or phoning 1800 650 890. You can also book an appointment with a clinician or a peer worker. This free, confidential service is available for young people aged 12-25 and their family, and no referrals are needed.
headspace Work & Study Online Support – Tailored 1-on-1 support to help young people aged 15-25 reach their work and study goals. Connect via video calls, webchat or phone to discuss study or work stress, explore further education options, job hunting (including support to write a resume and cover letter, or interview tips),career planning and more. You can access without needing to be engaged with our headspace centre.This is different to headspace Work & Study Centre Support offered at headspace Eastern Shore, where young people aged 12-25 can connect in-person with a Work & Study Specialist who works closely with your mental health clinician to support your wellbeing.
headspace Career Mentoring – Kick-start your career through online mentorship with an experienced working professional. They'll share career insights to support your professional journey for up to six months through fortnightly video calls. Available for 18–25-year-olds.
headspace Online Communities – Connect with others and share experiences, tips and resources in supportive moderated text-based group chats with other young people or family. Communities include qheadspace (LGBTIQA+), Navigating Life, Work & Study and Adults Supporting Young People. Chats run during school terms from 6:30pm–9:45pm AEDT (Melbourne time) Tuesday to Thursday.
Self-guided activities – Learn at your own pace with resources and activities to help with managing mental health and wellbeing, or more specific topics like online support for binge eating behaviours or parenting secondary-school aged young people.
