Pickleball, prizes and plenty of good vibes!

Supported by Waverley Council, we brought together young people for a fun-filled day of learning, laughter and friendly competition. Whether participants had never picked up a paddle before or were ready to show off their skills, everyone was welcome.

Coaches helped players learn the game before they jumped into a round-robin tournament, where teams played multiple matches and cheered each other on throughout the day.

We hosted two sessions, one for 12 to 16-year-olds and another for 17 to 25-year-olds, with the winning duo from each age group scoring a JBL speaker and a Rebel Sport voucher.

With free lunch provided and local community organisations joining us on the day, it was more than just a sports event. It was a chance for young people to connect, make new friends and be part of a supportive community.
