Rainbow Collective Social Group

Rainbow Collective Social Group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at our Bega hub (unless otherwise advertised). We engage in a range of activities each month from arts and crafts to games nights and special workshops (as requested by our young people), these activities will be advertised on our headspace Bega Facebook and Instagram accounts in the week leading up to each group, so everybody knows what we have planned.

Our attendees are aged between 12 & 25, and they do not need to be currently engaging with headspace services to attend our group.

The group’s main purpose is to offer a safe drop-in space to hang out with like-minded people, make some connections, and feel safe to explore identity with other young queer people whilst being supported and supervised by responsible adults with a deep knowledge of Mental Health, group facilitation, and the importance of community in holistic care. Facilitation of each group is supported by volunteer youth facilitators who are also aged between 12 & 25.
