headspace Day 2022

The headspace Bairnsdale Youth Advisory Group (YAG) celebrated headspace day this year by running a coffee van and chill-out space for the local community. The group planned and ran a hugely successful event!

It was great to see so many people in our community come down to support headspace Bairnsdale and take the time out of their day to engage with this year’s theme of ‘pause, reflect and reconnect'. We made many coffees, provided lots of snacks, and created a space for people to chill out and play games together. 

This event was completely organised and run by our amazing YAG members. Our members did everything from making the coffees, to designing our custom cups and event management on the day.   

We want to thank all the local organisations who helped make this event possible: Patties Foods for the donation of pies and sausage rolls, Newleaf Café for the donation of rice paper rolls, and Coles Bairnsdale for contributing towards our grocery items. Thanks to The Hub for allowing us to host our event there and to the members of the Men's Shed for supporting us with some technical difficulties we had with the van on the day.
