Peer worker
headspace Armadale have got a peer worker!
Our peer worker draws on their own lived experiences with mental health challenges to support young people in a safe, respectful, confidential and non-judgemental way.
Here is a little summary from our peer-worker:
Meet Annas Pronounced as An-Nass
Annas is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where young people feel heard, supported, and understood. Drawing on his lived experience, he's here to walk alongside young people and remind them they don't have to face things alone.
A few fun facts about Annas:
His dad used to work for an airline in the '90s.
Sushi is his favourite food.
He absolutely can't handle sour lollies!
When he's not at work, you'll probably find him playing story-driven or horror games solo or with friends
