Harmony Day 2026

Harmony Week 2026 took place from March 16 - March 22, promoting the recognition and celebration of cultural diversity within our community.

On Thursday 19 March, our
Community Engagement team visited Southern Grove Primary School during their Family and Parent Day where we held an information booth and some activities. It was a great experience of celebrating cultural diversity with local young people and their families.

Later that afternoon we hosted a
Movie Night at Piara Waters Library for local young people. We were joined by a talented henna artist and offered Banh Mi, rice paper rolls and noodles for those who attended.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate
Harmony Day together.

Piara Waters High School - Fun Fridays

On February 20 2026 we had the pleasure of participating in Fun Fridays at Piara Waters Senior High School!

Our Community Engagement team set up a stall with various mental health resources, as well as a beanbag toss tournament that students won a range of prizes from! Though our stall was buzzing with activity, we still managed to have some friendly chats with students about accessing our service and upcoming free events in the area.

Thank you Piara Waters SHS!

City of Armadale Youth Festival - Let's Chill 2026

On April 2nd, we attended the City of Armadale's "Let's Chill" Youth Festival.
Joining forces with our friends from Neami National, we hosted a vibrant stall and art activity area where young people could chill out and create some wonderful art!

It is always great to see such a positive turn out for our community's youth events, and we appreciate the opportunity to be involved in creating safe and fun spaces for those who attend.

Thank you to the City of Armadale for having us and making this event happen each year, and to all service providers and stallholders involved in creating such a great atmosphere!

Shire of SJ Youth Festival 2026

On April 14th, our Community Engagement team attended Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Youth Festival, hosted on a sunny afternoon at Briggs Park.

The afternoon was all about creativity, community, and taking a mindful moment together! We hosted a relaxing space where young people could participate in bracelet and keychain making, as well as canvas painting.

It was great to see so many young people out and about and enjoying the festivities!
