Terms and conditions of use of headspace Campus
Ownership
This headspace User Management Portal (Site) is owned and operated by headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation Ltd ABN 26 137 533 843 (headspace, we, our, us).
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Your access to and use of this Site is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions). Your use and/or continued access to this Site constitute your agreement to the Terms and Conditions.
We may amend the Terms and Conditions from time to time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon notification on this Site. Your continued use of the Site following such notification will represent an agreement by you to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as amended.
We reserve the right to terminate or not accept your registered user status at any time if you breach these Terms and Conditions.
headspace Campus
headspace Campus is a training resource provided via this Site. You are permitted to use the headspace Campus Materials for training purposes only and not any other purpose. You must use the headspace Campus Materials in accordance with the instructions applicable to particular learning modules.
While you are permitted to print copies of the headspace Campus Materials and to store a copy on your computer/device, you should exercise caution in using printed and downloaded material. We may update, alter and supplement headspace Campus Materials from time to time, and previously printed or downloaded headspace Campus Materials may be out of date when used.
Please note that when you use headspace Campus, details of your name, role and training you undertake may be shared with your organisation for reporting and operational purposes.
Conditions of use
This Site allows you to access certain headspace applications and systems (Systems). The Systems are provided for business use only. Your use of the Systems is subject to the following conditions:
- You must not disclose your password to anyone.
- If you suspect that your personal password is known by someone else, it must be changed immediately.
- You must lock your computer/device when you are away from it and log off from your computer/device at the end of use to prevent unauthorised use by other individuals.
- You must not install or use any unauthorised software on or in connection with the Systems and you must not store on the Systems any material which infringes third-party intellectual property rights or which is offensive or illegal.
- headspace owns the intellectual property rights in all documents and communications created using its Systems. You acknowledge and agree that headspace may monitor and record your use of the Systems and read all documents and communications stored on, received by or made using them.
- You are responsible for the for the content, dissemination and management of the electronic communication you upload. This responsibility means ensuring that all electronic communications:-
- do not contain information harmful to headspace or members of its community;
- are respectful, courteous and polite;
- comply with privacy and confidentiality requirements;
- do not contain obscene, offensive or defamatory material; and
- are not used for purposes that conflict with the interests of headspace.
- You acknowledge that personal information including your name, organisation, contact information and learning progress may be shared with your organisation or other relevant organisations for the purposes of assigning you the correct learning, and reporting.
- Some training activities may take the form of an online webinar. Your name and video images of you may be visible to others during the event (depending on the platform settings you use) and the event may be recorded by headspace. Subsequently, headspace may share recordings of such events with others who were unable to attend and the general public. If you do not wish for your name and/or video images to be visible or recorded during the event, please let the event organiser know in advance of the event. If the event is catered, your name, dietary requirements and other relevant personal information may be shared with any third-party providers who are catering the event.
Privacy
headspace is committed to protecting your privacy. You acknowledge and agree that in order for you to use this Site (including the Systems), you will need to provide certain information about yourself which may identify you. This includes your name, the organisation you work for, your email address, your position title and any other information you provide via the registration form. We use this information for the following purposes:· activity monitoring – to enable the organisation you work at to monitor data accuracy and/or ensure compliance;
- data quality – to verify learning records and ensure that learners have the correct courses assigned to them;
- communications – to provide specific communications to you regarding your account or learning;
- research, statistical and evaluation purposes.
Our privacy policy sets out how we collect and manage your personal information and the steps we take to protect it. Your use of this Site constitutes your acceptance of our privacy policy and the collection, use and disclosure by headspace of your personal information according to the terms of our privacy policy and these Terms and Conditions. Copyright
headspace owns the copyright in material on this Site (Site Materials), or has a licence or agreement with other persons to use their copyright material.
You may print copies of Site Materials for non-commercial use. You may store a copy of Site Materials on your computer for viewing purposes.
Otherwise, you are not permitted to alter, reproduce, distribute, adapt, transmit or store any Site Materials except in accordance with specific instructions on a particular webpage.
Disclaimer of liability
This Site contains links to websites controlled or produced by other organisations (Linked Materials). All trademarks which appear on this Site are proprietary to headspace or third parties. No trademarks mentioned on this Site may be used or distributed without the prior consent of headspace or the relevant third party owner.
Security of Information
No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Although headspace strives to protect such information, headspace gives no warranty and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to it. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to headspace via this Site is transmitted at your own risk. Once headspace receives your transmission, it will take reasonable steps to preserve the security of such information. headspace does not store any credit card information on its servers.
Termination of Access
headspace may terminate access to this Site at any time without notice.
General
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws in force in Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia and any courts which may hear appeals from those courts in respect of any proceedings in connection with these Terms and Conditions of use or the use of this Site.
