Workplace Mental Health and Wellbeing Training
The workplace environment plays a large role in how safe and supported we feel at work, the resources we have access to, and our workplace culture, which can all profoundly impact on our wellbeing.
This is especially true for young workers - many of whom face higher rates of insecure employment, exposure to psychosocial hazards like bullying and harassment, and are more likely to experience underpayment of wages or superannuation.
headspace works with like-minded employers to create safe, welcoming, and supportive workplaces for young people, so that they can thrive and be the best workers they can be.
We focus on building long lasting relationships with organisations who share our values, and we adapt our approach to create meaningful outcomes for your people. We undertake a comprehensive consultation process that is designed to understand and meet your unique needs.
This includes:
- Surveying your workforce
- Identifying clear goals
- Designing and delivering training
- Evaluating outcomes, and
- Connecting you with resources to strengthen workplace wellbeing
The cost of training can be incorporated in a partnership agreement or paid on a fee-for-service basis.
Training packages
Our training is informed by the stress-vulnerability model. Watch our video below exploring the "bucket model" of mental health and wellbeing that underpins all of our training.
Explore our modifiable training packages below. We can deliver these workshops face to face, online (live), or through a blended learning approach.
If this is not quite what you are looking for, chat with us about how we can develop a fully bespoke training to meet your needs.
This training is designed to strengthen employees' understanding of mental health and to promote reflection on factors that may limit and enhance our wellbeing. This is a foundational package that is suitable for all employees.
This training is designed to strengthen employees' confidence in recognising the signs of stress and having supportive conversations about mental health. This is designed for managers and employees who have a role in supporting others.
These modules are designed to enhance understanding of steps that can be taken to create supportive workplaces for employees with experiences of:
- mental health concerns
- neurodivergence
Our lunch and learn sessions are designed to promote self-reflection and introduce strategies that employees can use to support their own wellbeing. They are only provided to organisations who we already have an existing meaningful relationship with.
We can develop specific lunch and learn sessions based on our seven tips for a healthy headspace:
- get into life
- eat well
- limit alcohol and other drug use
- learn skills for tough times
- sleep well
- stay active
- connect with others

Why choose headspace?
There are lots of great resources out there and it can be hard to know which approach to workplace wellbeing might work best for you.
Here are some things to consider when deciding whether headspace is right for you:
- We are committed to creating meaningful and lasting change for young workers. This means we centre collaboration, flexibility, and inclusive approaches to designing and delivering training.
