ABOUT US:

Make a difference to young people and join one of Tasmania’s most innovative primary health services. The Link Youth Health Service (‘The Link’) supports young people within Hobart and Southern Tasmania by providing a range of free and confidential health and wellbeing services for young people aged 12-25.

As part of The Link, headspace Hobart delivers integrated primary health, mental health and alcohol and other drug services to young people aged 12-25 years in a youth friendly environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

headspace Hobart is supporting the delivery of an *Individual Placement and Support Program (IPS) designed to improve the educational and employment outcomes of young people experiencing mental health issues.

We are seeking exceptional and passionate applicants for multiple positions to fill the following fixed term engagements.

Vocational Specialist

Up to full time hours fixed term until 30 June 2024

Up to .8fte fixed term until 30 June 2023.

As part of the headspace Hobart program, you will be a member of small team that will further support the design, implementation, and delivery the IPS program in Southern Tasmania.

ABOUT YOU:

Suitable applicants will have:

• Knowledge of the vocational sector
• Experience working with young people with mental health issues to achieve positive education and employment outcomes
• The capacity to work independently in a small team environment
• The capacity to work with a range of stakeholders
