Role Overview:
- Provide high standard GP assessments of young persons aged 12-25 years experiencing physical and mental health issues
- Liaising and working with internal and external stakeholders
- Creating Mental Health Care Plans for internal referrals, Psychiatrist and Allied Health Services
- Providing high quality, primary health care services to those accessing headspace
- Respond to medical/health concerns presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate
- Encourage and support young people to engage with sexual health and drug and alcohol services as well as preventative health care

Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- NSW Medical Registration
- A commitment to quality youth-focused primary health care services to those accessing the centre
- Eligibility to provide services under Medicare and be willing to Bulk Bill
- Level 1 in Mental Health Skills Training
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Criminal Record Check
