Tell me about the role…
The role of headspace Work and Study Support Officer sits within the unique online service ‘headspace Work and Study’. This service provides young people aged 15-25 with access to a Career Advisor who can assist them with everything work and study related, from help finding a job and choosing a TAFE course through to navigating Centrelink. Because we know there’s often a lot going on in young people’s lives that means this isn’t always easy, participants can also access clinical mental health support through the program to help overcome any barriers to their work or study.
The headspace Work and Study Support Officer is an important role in the service as it is the first point of contact for young people. This has a big impact on participant experience, setting the tone for the service and ensuring young people have a positive first engagement with us. Responsible for supporting the team with appointment bookings and service operations, the Support Officer is a key link in assisting young people to get the help they need at a time that’s right for them.
