headspace Werribee in-school programs
Did you know that headspace Werribee offers in-school programs and presentations that promote positive mental health and wellbeing?
Our in-school presentations are one-off workshops that are designed for class-sized groups of young people. Presentations can be tweaked to the need of your cohorts, but are based on topics such as
- general mental health and wellbeing
- practical self-care
- study skills
- bullying, and more
Our in-school programs are designed for smaller groups of young people and provides a more in-depth approach to a specific topic. Our current offerings are...
Global Ambassadors Program (GAP) is a 6 session model for promoting resilience based life skills for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) young people. This is done by a headspace Werribee facilitator creating a safe space to discuss cultural experiences and their links to mental health and wellbeing.
Please note that while this is a 6 week program our staff are happy to adjust the schedule to best suit your school.
Body Project Australia (BPA) is a 4-week evidence based program designed for young females aged 14-18 who want to improve their body image. BPA aims to empower young people who identify as female to feel more comfortable and accepting of their body and improve their self-esteem.
While this program was designed for young females, we are happy to discuss how we can cater this program to other cohorts of young people.
