Introducing Session by Session (SbS)
Working with you to identify your goals and to find solutions to what you're struggling with right now!
What is a session by session (SbS)?
These are sessions designed to target your current difficulties. During these sessions, you will explore tools and learn strategies to help you navigate your current experience together with your clinician. If you find you need ongoing support, you and your clinician will work together to map the best pathway for you. Your family is also welcome to attend these sessions with you!
Why should I choose to do a session by session?
Research has shown that most young people get what they need from just a few sessions! SbS provides quick access with an experienced clinician to provide you with as much assistance as possible with the thing you want to support with now.
What can I expect in my first session?
Each session is treated as a one-off session, so together with your clinician, you can walk away with something helpful to what you have identified as where you most need help with now. Of course, further support is available if needed.
SbS gives you the control to determine the focus of the session.
Things to consider before your session are:
- What prompted you to seek help now?
- What would you like to see change in your life?
The session will run between 45 - 90 minutes, depending on what you discuss.
