Join the Push-Up Challenge with headspace this June
This June, our headspace centres – Adelaide, Edinburgh North, Marion and Onkaparinga – are taking part in The Push-Up Challenge, Australia’s largest mental health and fitness event, and we’d love for you to get involved!
From 4–26 June 2025, participants will aim to complete 3,214 push-ups over 23 days – a number that represents the lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023. The challenge raises awareness of mental health and encourages open conversations, all while supporting the work of headspace.
You can take part individually or as a team – and it’s free to register.
Why participate?
- Improve your mental health education: Learn a new fact about mental health each day of the challenge.
- Boost your fitness: Get motivated to engage in daily exercise to improve both physical and mental wellbeing.
- Feel more connected: Work towards a common goal with friends, family, and colleagues, fostering a sense of unity and support.
- Flexible participation: Modify the challenge to suit your ability – swap push-ups for sit-ups, squats, or other exercises, or adjust your target total.
Make an impact
Every push-up – and every dollar – makes a difference. Funds raised through the challenge will directly support our headspace centres, enhancing youth programs, resources, and peer-led initiatives.
You can choose to:
- Join the challenge and fundraise for your local headspace centre, or
- Make a donation to show your support, even if you’re not taking part.
