The Push-Up Challenge is Back for 2025!

The Push-Up Challenge is returning this June, and we’re inviting community to get involved once again in support of youth mental health.

Last year, we had an incredible time connecting with the community, raising awareness, and fundraising for a cause that means so much to us. The support was inspiring — and we’re ready to do it all again!

What is The Push-Up Challenge?

The Push-Up Challenge is a national initiative focused on increasing awareness about mental health, while encouraging people to get fit and foster connection.

Over 23 days, participants will complete 3,214 push-ups (or an alternative number of 1,607) to represent the 3,214 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023. It's a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

You can choose to:

  • Complete the challenge on your own or as part of a team

  • Do push-ups or opt for alternative exercises like squats, sit-ups, or bicep curls

  • Or, if participating isn’t for you, you can simply donate to support headspace Nowra and the important work we do with young people in our community

Whether you're super active or just starting out, this challenge is flexible and inclusive.
