New Doctor (GP) at headspace Miranda!

We have excellent news: headspace Miranda has a new free* doctor for young people aged 12-25 years old.

Dr Meredith Williams can provide a range of free* services to young people including but not limited to:

Physical health checks
Sexual health education & assessments
Contraceptive education
Pregnancy testing
Drug & alcohol assessment
Mental health assessments / treatment plans
Medication prescribing & review

*For No Gap Billing, young people will require Medicare card details. Please refer to Service NSW for more information. See Below.

Service NSW is a good place to look for Medicare info What happens when your child turns 14 - Growing up - Services Australia.

When young people turn 14, parents/caregivers won’t have access to their Medicare claims history Online. They will need to fill a form.
When young people turn 15, they can get their own Medicare card.

We are so excited to offer this service to our community. Dr Meredith will be at headspace Miranda every Monday from 9am-5pm.
