International Day Against Prejudice & Discrimination towards Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Trans* people and people with Intersex characteristics

Join us for a fundraising afternoon tea and presentation of The Dorothies

At The Manor - OneCare, 2 Guy Street, Kings Meadows

From 2.30-4pm on Tuesday May 17th, 2016

You will be joined by Member for Franklin the Honourable Jacquie Petrusma, Minister for Human Services and Women, as guest speaker.

For the first time since their return in 2012, The Dorothies will be presented in Launceston, with the 2016 awards acknowledging inclusive practise in ageing and aged care services.

We will be asking for a gold coin donation as you arrive to cover the cost of the morning tea, but for catering purposes we do require all guests to RSVP. We also invite you to make an additional tax deductible donation, with all funds raised going to support the ongoing and crucial work of Working It Out in supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people in Tasmania through individual and group support; targeted programs and projects such as the Safe Schools Coalition, MindOUT!, and the Silver Rainbow Project; information and resources; professional learning; research and advocacy.
