**About Run 4 Fun**
Run 4 Fun is a community event managed by Run It By Kate outdoor personal trainer Kate Mackie. Kate has over 15 years of experience in health and fitness and is passionate about helping people stay active and healthy.
Many in the local community know Kate when she trains clients at Princes Park. Or by her famous van!
The event is 100% inclusive and welcoming for all community members to participate in, no matter your health and wellness level.
A family-friendly day, with prams and even pets welcomed.
The day raises awareness of youth mental health and raises funds for headspace.
headspace provides vital programs for the community, particularly for those aged 12-25 years of age. The programs support the individual, their networks and family.
Key initiatives include drug, alcohol, study and inclusion, and programs and events for the LGBTQIA+ and First Nations communities.

**How you can make a difference to headspace**
By signing up to Run 4 Fun, $5 from every ticket will go directly to headspace.
In addition, you'll be able to set up a Hero space, so you can invite your family and friends to support you.
For every dollar you raise, all of this will go to headspace.
We will also provide you with free resources to encourage your networks to support you more.
The more we raise together, the more of an impact we can have on youth in need.
When 1 in 4 young people are likely to experience mental health issues, we must provide them with the support and resources they need - particularly for those disadvantaged or marginalised.

**Princes Park, Carlton North**
Princes Park is close to Melbourne and to neighbouring suburbs like Parkville, Brunswick and Brunswick East, to name a few.
The terrain is easy to master as it's mostly flat ground with gravel or concrete.
You'll be surrounded by beautiful trees to breathe in some fresh air away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD.
Get your Run 4 Fun shirt and register by 27 August here to receive it on race day: https://bit.ly/Run4FunSignUp2023
