headspace Joondalup Celebrates Work & Study Month
headspace Work and Study Month: Empowering Young Minds for Success!
March marks an exciting time at headspace Joondalup as we celebrated work and study month. As part of this initiative, the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) team hosted a work and study information session at the Edge Youth Centre in Currambine on the 11th of March.
The event aimed to provide valuable support and guidance to young people aged 12 to 25, equipping them with essential information about various study options, pathways, and career opportunities. Attendees had the opportunity to explore different study pathways, receive assistance in creating resumes, and gain insights into navigating the world of work and education.
In addition to the information session, headspace Joondalup also set up a stall in the local shopping centre to promote work and study services and engage with the broader community. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of education and employment opportunities for young people while providing them with access to valuable resources and support.

One of the highlights of the day was the presence of Lawrence, one of headspace Joondalup's esteemed Youth Reference Group members. Lawrence's support and involvement in the event further emphasized the importance of community engagement and peer support in empowering young individuals to achieve their goals.
Overall, the Work and Study Month initiative at headspace Joondalup was a success, providing young people with valuable information, resources, and support to pursue their academic and professional aspirations.
