Youth Week Tasmania 2025. 'Courage to Create' mural.

The theme for Youth Week Tasmania 2025 was 'Stepping out of Your Comfort Zone'. 

We received a grant from the Department of Premier and Cabinet to design and paint a mural on one of our carpark walls, with the theme 'Courage to Create'.

 

 

For Youth Week Tasmania, local artist Caroline Amos worked with group of young artists to design and create an amazing mural to brighten up our car park space. 

The mural was created over three sessions: An initial planning/drawing session, and then two sessions on the brushes.

To celebrate the launch of Youth Week Tasmania, Roger Jaensch (Tasmanian Minister for Children and Youth; Mental Health and Wellbeing; Community Services; Finance), and Youth Network of Tasmania CEO Tania Hunt, dropped in to chat with our young artists and check the progress of our incredible 'Courage to Create' mural and each individual artist's design.

A huge well done to Joe, our Work & Study Peer Worker who worked with the young people to make this happen.
