About

Staying Deadly|headspace Deception Bay is a place where you can get support to look after your mental health, your way.

Our team of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Care Coordinators come from Community. Some have supported Mob with mental health and/or drug and alcohol concerns and some have walked this journey themselves.  The Staying Deadly|headspace Deception Bay team also includes clinical professionals such as:

§  Mental Health Clinicians who have completed university study and additional training to support young people with their mental health

§  Doctors who can work with you and your regular GP to support your physical and sexual health and wellbeing

§  Psychiatrists who are doctors with additional training in mental health, and who can support you with mental health medication and recommend treatment options

We walk alongside Mob to provide supported and specialised services including:

§  Mental health and wellbeing

§  Physical and Sexual Health

§  Alcohol and other drug use

§  Work and study goals

We can meet you at Staying Deadly|headspace or out in Community, the choice is yours.
