Registrations for The Push-Up Challenge are now open! Get ready to boost your physical fitness and wellbeing, connect with your community and help support headspace Cannington. It's free to join.
Your support will allow us to grow our reach in the community, provide more fun events like bouldering and bubble tea paint and sip, and connect more young people with our services.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Challenge dates: 4–26 June (Don't worry if you can't do the challenge every day, there are a few days to rest or catch up built into the challenge).
- The goal: Complete 3,214 push-ups or aim for half (1,607) You can also pick an alternative exercise (squats, sit-ups, etc.), and mix it up with the exercises you do each day! It's just about getting physically active.
- ❤️ Why 3,214? This number represents the 3,214 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023. This very sad statistic is why we are raising funds to increase services for young people and their families.
- Sign up solo or start a team with your mates, family, school, gym, club or workplace.
- Push For Better app: Bank your push-ups (or other exercises) each day and also learn about a key mental health fact on the app.
