Making ART Work

This one-day Creative Arts Career Event will showcase practical pathways into employment and self-employment in the creative industries.

Who: Young people interested in making an income from creative arts

When: Thursday 26th of March, 9:30am - 4:00pm

Where: TBH Studios, 57 Bridge Mall, Ballarat Central VIC 3350

Cost: Free

The day will include:

Hands on art workshop - create your own zine or screen-printing project.

Guest speakers and lived experience insights from local working artists, training providers and council arts
engagement workers.

Panel discussion on topics such as freelancing, commissions, exhibitions, grants, portfolio development and
balancing creativity with income.

Opportunities for networking with artists, training providers and employment staff.
